How much is the tax? Is there an amount threshold under which you will not be taxed? thx
Does Argentina charge a tax on gold and silver bullion or coins when entering the country from the US.?

It all depends if ur an argentine citizen or stuff like if ur living in the US. If your an argentine citizen and not a US one and ur entering argentina with gold and silver you do have to pay a tax of something around 2-5% of the value. However if your a US citizen and not an argentine citizen i do not think you have to pay a tax upon entering, but always best to try to hide it. However if you plan to sell it in argentina you have an option you can either try to sell it the honest way where you pay a tax to argentina or you can sell it easily discretely without paying tax which most people tend to do. On the other hand though if you are both an argentine and a US citizen (if you were actually born in argentina this does not apply because your us passport tells them immediately that u have argentine citizenship) use ur american passport to enter the country because this way they wont know ur an argentine citizen. This is as much as i know so good luck and look it up on the internet as a just in case. Have fun in argentina! o and i think if the value of the gold is under something like $200 it will not be taxed
